Jill Cook
Naples, FL - Jill Cook, 73, of Naples, FL passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer on March 6, 2018 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, with her loving husband of 53 years by her side.
Born in Buffalo, NY on October 18, 1944, she was one of five daughters. At the young age of 19 she married the love of her life and moved to NYC, then eventually settling in the heart of Morristown, NJ for 34 years. There she was an active member at The Kellogg Club and The Morristown Field Club. While raising her family she had a few jobs but some of her best memories were working in the Attendance Office at Morristown High School. In Morristown she made lifelong friends and had an incredible impact on the lives of many; including many kids through their teenage years at MHS.
After retiring she, as usual, put her family first leaving Morristown for the Philadelphia area to be closer to her daughters and grandchildren. She enjoyed summers in Wayne, PA spending time at St. Albans Swim and Tennis Club and winters in Naples, FL at Naples Bath & Tennis Club and Kensington Golf & Country Club. Once again making wonderful lifelong friends everywhere she went. She enjoyed playing tennis, bridge and mahjong, attending all her grandchildren's sporting events and spending time with friends and family.
Jill is survived by her devoted husband, David, her daughters Allison, Lindsay and her husband Chris, her four beautiful grandchildren Corey, Abby, Jack and Kate, her sisters Judy Speller (Dennis), Jane Miller (Steve) and Joan Merrick (Steve), Brother in Law Ron Cook (Pam), Sister in Law Sandy McQuillan (Tom) and many nieces and nephews.
Jill's life celebrations will be held on Wednesday 3/28 from 4p-7p at Academia Sanchez Casal (Naples Bath & Tennis Club) in Naples, FL and Saturday 4/7 from 3p-7p at Manufacturers Golf & Country Club in Ft. Washington, PA. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Melanoma Research Foundation in her memory.

I was so sad to read about Jill's passing; I remember seeing her at our 50th reunion and talking about all the good times we had in High School. Jill lived a few houses away from us on Walton Drive when we were in school. We all loved her parents and I especially remember her father who so enjoyed having such beautiful daughters. My sympathy to David and her family and friends.
