"Ollie" was a friend and frat brother at ACHS. We shared some crazy times together. We had such a good time at the 75th Amherst Anniversary and we ended up singing at the lounge at the Lord Amherst. My condolences to his family.

Sincerely,

Clinton R. "Bob" Friday, Class of 1963

It truly is a sad day when I lose a classmate.  John and I ate lunch at the same table in Amherst's cafeteria everyday.   We shared a lot of laughs together.  I truly will miss him.  My condolences and prayers go out to John's family.

It saddens me to hear of John's passing. He was a frat brother and friend at ACHS, and I'm glad I got to see him one more time at the 75th Anniversary Reunion. My heart goes out to his wife, Viola, and their family. Be at peace, brother.

Saddened to read of John's  "Ollie's" passing. We reconnected at the 45th Amherst reunion.  He was a kind and thoughtful guy.  He thought the world of his wife, kids and grandkids.

Ollie and I were on the 1958 Connie Mack L.L. baseball team that played in the New York State championship game. After that, we continued to play a lot of baseball together as we grew up; Babe Ruth, American Legion, etc.  When we were in Jr. HIgh, he taught me how to play golf. I shall be forever thankfull to him for introducing me to golf.  It's something that I do 3-4 times a week now that I'm retired.  We also did a lot of small, and big game hunting together in Rushford, N.Y.  We were fraternity brothers @ ACHS. Keep it in the fairway old buddy. You shall be missed my friend.
