Beloved husband of Maureen O. (nee O’Flynn) Gioia; devoted father of Brian (Elizabeth) Gioia, Emily (Keith) Junik and Stephen Gioia; loving grandfather of Jack Gioia and Shep Junik; dear brother of Anthony H. (Donna), Richard E. (Anne), Robert D. (Sally), Angela Gioia (Gary) Porter, Horace A., Jr. and the late Joyce A. Gioia; son of the late Horace and Anna Gioia; also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family will be present to receive friends on Friday from 4-8 PM at the (Amherst Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC. 5200 Sheridan Dr. (at Hopkins Rd). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, 9:30 AM at Ss. Peter & Paul Church, 5480 Main St., Williamsville.
