UHRIG, Dana Charlotte (nee Powell) -Born Buffalo, N.Y., October 16, 1955. Died Milton, Ont., April 30, 2018. Passed away peacefully after a five year battle with Cushing's Disease. Survived by husband Bill and son David; mother Charlotte M. Boyer and Dr. D. W. Boyer of North Tonawanda, N.Y.; brother Robert L. Powell and friend Jo of Williamsville, N.Y.; step-mother Donna Mae Powell of Fort Erie, Ont.; sisters-in-law Sandra Reinhardus (Carel) and Judy Merritt (late Colin) of Southampton, Ont. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews in both Canada and the U.S. Predeceased by father Robert L. Powell, 1983. Dana was involved for 20 years with the Milton Boy Scouts Association and had managed the Bulk Food Store at White Oaks Plaza, Bronte Street for 10 years prior to its closing. To honour Dana's wishes, cremation has taken place with no funeral or visitation. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
