Ann Epke (Linderman) - Class Of 1964

ANN E. LINDERMAN, WROTE CHILDREN'S STORIES

A memorial service for author Ann E. Linderman, a Buffalo native, will be held Friday in Wilmington.

Mrs. Linderman, 43, died of leukemia Thursday (Nov. 15, 1990) in Christiana Hospital.

The former Ann Epke was a 1964 graduate of Amherst High School and also graduated from Albion College in Albion, Mich. She was a former member of the Parkside Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Linderman was an author of children's stories and recently was honored by the Romance Writers of America with its top award. A former features reporter for the Wilmington News-Journal newspapers, she was an active member of the Delaware Chapter of Romance Writers of America.

She was a member of the Wildflower Garden Club of Hockessin, past president of the Foxmeadow Farm Civic Association, and a former Sunday School teacher and chancel choir member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church in Wilmington.

She is survived by her husband, Robert C.; two sons, Christopher L. and Daniel M.; one daughter, Erica, all at home; her mother, Janiece E. Baldwin of Buffalo; two brothers, William P. Epke of New York City and Bruce E. Epke of Newport, R.I., and one sister, Laura L. Epke of Boston, Mass.
