Scott was such a beautiful young man.  If anyone knows what had happened to him in his life, and how he passed, could you please contact me: ctnaylor22@gmail.com.  Thank you.  C T Naylor (Class of '72)

Scott was my big brother, 2 years older. I both looked up to him and felt in competition with him. C'est la vie 💖. Scott graduated from Penn State, and Albany Law School, and then pursued a career in the U. S. Army in the J.A.G. Corps (Judge Advocate General) aka as a military attorney. Scott served almost 20 years (in Germany, Williamsburg and the Pentagon, VA) until he had to take an early retirement due to his battle with AIDS. Tragically, Scott passed in 1993 at the young age of 41. The Army honored him by naming their newly renovated Law Center at Walter Reed Army Hospital after him. A quiet, caring, thoughtful soul. We miss you still 💖💖💖.

Scott is just another example of the incredible students who graduated from Amherst........ what an amazing career that sadly ended too soon.  Who knows what he might have accomplished had he lived; but what an honor to have a building named in his memory!!
