TAOS, New Mexico —

Mary Elizabeth Langway, 46, passed away on Sept. 28, 2007, in Taos, N.M., after a long illness with pancreatic cancer. Her children and sister, Nancy, were at her bedside.

Mary’s mother, Rosemary H. (Vovesny) Langway preceded her death in 1979. Mary is survived by her two children, Annika Elizabeth, 10 years, and Dylan Henry, 12 years. She also leaves her father, Chester C. Langway of Harwich; two sisters, Nancy J. of Cape Coral, Fla., and Harwich Port, JoAnn K. of Yarmouth; a brother, Thomas J. and his wife, Margaret,, and their two children, Emma Rose and Lilly Grace, of East Harwich; and many more close relatives. Her children will continue to reside in Taos, N.M. with their father.

Mary attended grammar school at Lyme Elementary in Lyme, N.H., and graduated from Amherst Central High School in 1979, in Snyder, N.Y. She graduated from Buffalo State College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1983. Mary had lived in Taos, N.M., for the last 16 years, and had previously owned a furniture design business.

A Memorial Mass and ceremony will be held at Holy Trinity Church, 240 Route 28, West Harwich, at 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 3.
