Janice Minick (Ptak) - Class Of 1968

From Thomas Ptak:

I regret to inform you that Janice (Minick) Ptak (AHS class of 1968) passed away on March 6, 2020, after a battle with heart disease that lasted more than 20 years.  She was a woman who loved her family more than life itself, a relentless fighter who consistently amazed her doctors with her indomitable spirit, an unyielding iron will, and a sense of humor that never failed until God called her home.  Despite the battle she fought for almost 22 years, she was taken from us suddenly and without warning, suffering a cardiac arrest and lingering in a coma for three days before peacefully passing on to her eternal reward.  Her loss has left her family devastated, but at least we were able to gather to celebrate her life and say our goodbyes before the coronavirus pandemic took hold and completely upended what was left of our lives.
