Obituary

William "Bill" A. Ambs of Anderson Twp., passed away peacefully on October 20, 2020 at the age of 67. Bill was the beloved husband of Barbara Stein Ambs. He was the loving father of Brian (Melissa) and Elizabeth (Shepard) Webeler (Andrew) and devoted grandfather (PopPop) to Lila Butler, Daisy and Brooke Shepard, and Elijah Ambs. Bill was preceded in death by his parents Marie (Paufler) and Alfred James and his sister Joanne Diehl and loving pets. He is survived by his brother Alfred Richard.
He was an uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.

Bill will be missed by numerous friends and coworkers after his 40 years working at Keebler Company and Kellogg Company, where he handled the National account for The Kroger Company and was well admired and respected.

Bill loved all sports and but was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Bengals and Reds, Buffalo Bills, and the Marshall University Thundering Herd. When his son Brian was active in the local Cincinnati Amateur Hockey Association, Bill volunteered and served as a past president.

A Celebrations of Life is being planned for the summer of 2021 in both Cincinnati, Ohio and Buffalo, NY. Bill will be buried in Buffalo, NY with his parents
and sister.
