Tracy Kunkel - Class Of 1978

 

Mr. Tracy Alan Kunkel, 61, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2022, at his home in Savannah, Georgia with Max and Sadie by his side.

Tracy was born in Buffalo, New York on July 23, 1960, to Eugene and Eileen Kunkel and was a 1978 graduate of Amherst High School. He began his career working as a store manager for 7-11 for many years in the Daytona Beach Area before moving to the Tampa area to work for Radiant. Mr. Tracy later moved to the Savannah area to work as the operations manager for Cavalier Convenience Stores before working for Dorsey Tire as a warehouse manager. Tracy was an avid sports fan and loved cheering on the Tampa Bay Bucs, the Buffalo Bills, and the Tampa Bay Lightning. In his free time, while living in Daytona he enjoyed being on a local bowling team. Tracy was also an avid golfer and loved reading.

 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Eileen Kunkel.

Survivors include: his daughter, Kimberly Holloway (Barry) of Springfield; son, Christopher Kunkel of Pooler; former wife, Rosemary Kellar; sons, Cory Kunkel of Daytona Beach, and Curtiss Kunkel of Daytona Beach; sister, Candance Roberts (Jason); brothers, Keith Kunkel (Peggy) and Bryan Kunkel; brother like friend, Mark Higbee (Donna); grandchildren, Rylee and Reid Holloway; nieces and nephews, Kevin Roberts (Janette), Kaylee Weber (Aaron) and Keri Burnett (Robert);several great nieces and nephews; special friend, Patty Kelly; and many numerous friends

A celebration of life will be held at Carlson and Riggs Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at 11am.
