BROOK - Amy E., PhD

Ended her six ¾ year battle with cancer on December 17, 2020 at the home of her parents in Tucson, Arizona. Amy graduated from Amherst Central Schools, attended Mount Holyoke College and earned a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. She worked in community mental health and in private practice in Western Massachusetts for many years before returning to Buffalo to join the staff the Buffalo Psychiatric Center. She moved to Tucson in 2018. An avid road-tripper, Amy completed an 11,000 mile trip this past summer, camping and social-distancing and achieving her goal of visiting all 50 states. She loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed exploring Buffalo on foot or by bike on her return. Amy is survived by her parents, Rupert and Marian; brother Jonathan; sister-in-law Marvina; nieces and nephew Lillianna, Ian and Katarina of Wilbraham, Massachusetts.
