SNYDER - Elizabeth F. "Betsy"
Passed away on November 9, 2021, after a brief illness. Born in 1961 in Buffalo, NY, Betsy lived most of her adult life in Pasadena, CA, where she had an Emmy-winning writing career. She is survived by her husband, Clay Marquardt, son Charlie and daughter Anne. She is also survived by her father, George L. Snyder, siblings Philip Snyder (Julie), Amy Snyder Doldo (John), George Snyder Jr. (Lidia) and Jane Snyder and step-siblings Catherine Luhr, Mary E. Luhr Johnson, Adair Luhr Kearney (Kevin), Julie Luhr, Ann Marie Luhr, John Paul Luhr Jr., Florine Luhr, and Eileen Luhr. She is predeceased by her mother, Anne Bradt Snyder, and stepmother, Leah Luhr Snyder. She will be greatly missed by the Nowaks, Hamlins, and Muglers of Buffalo, and Snyders of Ohio. A Buffalo-based celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Flowers gratefully declined.
