ROBERT PASSED AWAY ON 3/19/18

Robert “Bob” Spelder, Cincinnati – Bob was a loving devoted husband of 56 years to Beverly Martin Spelder. Proud father of Brent Robert Spelder and Mark Maxwell Spelder. Adoring Grandfather to Emma & Max Spelder and Maggie & Jack Spelder. Bob was born in Buffalo, NY in July 1937 and was raised in Buffalo with parents John “Jack” & Janet Spelder and his late brother John and late sister Janet. He moved to Ohio and attended Bowling Green State University on a baseball scholarship. After graduating from BGSU, he married Beverly Martin and they moved to Cleveland, Ohio. Bob and Bev moved to Long Island, NY where their sons, Brent and Mark were born. In 1972 they moved to Cincinnati and settled in Montgomery. He was a proud resident of Montgomery for many years. Bob passed away on March 19th after complications from a stroke with no pain, but fighting until the end.

Bob’s planned his services and intended for it to be a celebration of his life! We hope you join us to celebrate him. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday April 14th, 2018 4:30pm @ Church of Saviour, 8005 Pfeiffer Rd Cincinnati, OH 45242 and then reception immediately following @ Silver Spring House 8322 E. Kemper Rd Cincinnati, OH 45249.
