WRIGHT, ELAINE S.
April 1, 2017, age 76, beloved daughter of the late Madeline (nee Callahan) and Mark Wright; dear sister of William Wright; loving aunt of Cynthia LaCosse, Margaret Wright and Julie Wright; great-aunt of Brendan, Justin, Kevin and Jacob. Elaine was a graduate of Buffalo State and spent her career in education and enjoyed her many years as a guidance counselor. She was an avid reader and a great sports fan, with a life-long passion for the Buffalo Sabres and the Buffalo Bills. Elaine also loved cats!! She adopted and raised multiple cats and kittens especially her beloved longtime cat Moxie. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the SPCA and the Humane Society. The family will be present to receive friends Friday, April 21, 2017 from 4-7 PM at the (Amherst Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5200 Sheridan Dr. (corner of Hopkins). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, April 22, 2017 at St. Gregory the Great Church (Maple Rd. & St. Gregory Ct.) at 10:30 AM. Family and friends invited.
