L. Peter Frohe III, formerly of Amherst, died Nov. 12, 1998, at his home in Boulder, Colo. He was 47.
A 1969 graduate of Amherst Central High School, he attended Dean Junior College in Massachusetts, graduated from the University of Oregon in 1973 and had a private practice in neuromuscular therapy in Denver.
He enjoyed writing, skiing, hiking, rock climbing and the company of his many friends.
A guitarist, he was a member of a Denver performance group, the Open Rangers.
Surviving are a daughter, Deara of Fairbanks, Alaska; his mother, Mary of Snyder; a brother, Timothy J. of Albuquerque, N.M.; and a grandson.
