Timothy Jacques - Class Of 1997

Timothy Jacques ’97 – 09/12/2021

Timothy F. Jacques, 42, of Denver, formerly of Long Island and Amherst, died suddenly on Sept. 12, 2021. Tim was the beloved husband of Heather, devoted son of Paul and Monica, cherished brother of Gregory (Kathleen) and uncle to Dylan, Abigail and Avery. Fond son-in-law of late Denver Rost. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents.  Funeral services were held in Denver and Long Island.

Tim was born in NYC and came into this world two weeks early. As a child he began his path of always looking for and taking on challenges. He started to play piano at age five and later taught himself to play guitar. He took advanced classes at Amherst Central High School, became a Scholar athlete, achieving high academic honors while competing in football, wrestling and lacrosse. He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout by age 18.  After graduating Amherst HS in 1997, Tim attended Catholic University of America, where he obtained his BA in Architecture.

In 2002, Tim moved to Denver to attend the University of Colorado and earned his MA in Architecture. He spent many years studying and working and achieved his goal of becoming a licensed architect. He then established an independent practice, Double Aught Architecture. He had a creative mind which he brought to his multiple architectural projects in and around Denver.

In Denver Tim met the love of his life, Heather, whom he married in 2011. He had two furry kids, Jules and Iris. Tim brought much joy to all of his family and friends with his quick wit and fun personality. He enjoyed his times with family and was dearly loved by all. He accomplished much in his short life, and his passing leaves a huge void in our lives.
