James Kramer - Class Of 1963

James I. Kramer, 71, formerly of Amherst N.Y., passed away in Charlotte, NC on December 29, 2016.  Beloved husband of the late Tami Kramer, loving father of Jillian Kramer (Andrew Glazer) of New York City, beloved son of the late Dorothy Kramer Reinhardt, beloved brother of Janice Kramer Rose (class of 1968) (Edward Jr.) of Star, Idaho and the late John Kramer (class of 1959) of Charlotte, NC.  Jim is also survived by nephews John Kramer (Sylvia) andEddie Rose, niece Katie Rose McClure (Brian) and three great-nephews.  Jim was a graduate of Amherst Central High School and SUNY/Buffalo and served four years in the United States Air Force.  There will be no visitation.  If desired, a donation may be made to your favorite charity in Jim’s honor.

John Jeffrey Downing (1963)

Jim was a friend in high school and I had the joy of being able to find him through social media and stay in contact over the past few years. I will miss his wit and opinions, rest in peace my friend.

Larry Baehre (1964)

Jim and I went to Winderemere Blvd. Elementary School, as well as JR. & SR. H.S. together.  In our youth, we played a lot of baseball together.  Jimmy was a die hard Bills fan from their inception.  He lived in Charlotte, N.C., but every Sunday during the football season, he would watch the Bills on TV, and eat chicken wings.  He had one of the hottest cars of anyone in the class of 1963.  It was a 1961 Chevy Impala convertible, black with a white top.  It had a 348 cubic inch engine, with 4 on the floor.  Our good friend, Gordy Fredrickson, nicked named Jimmy;  "4 Speed".  Jim will be missed by all who knew him.  R.I.P. my friend.
