May 14th, 1942 - May 31st, 2017

Today about 12:57 pm, my father Charles (Chuck Lenz) passed away. I was just sitting with him & then took Hannah out for her afternoon walk. I hope we to look over & saw my brother trying to get my attention & he said "I think dad is gone" I just took off running to the house, Terrified! The hospice nurse came over right away, who ha e been ABSOLUTELY AWESOME & PLEASANT IN EVERY & ANYWAY POSSIBLE. They told my mother & I to just put our paper work down & to cry or do whatever we needed to do & they would take over & that's what they did. The funeral home just left our house with my father & now everything is just weird! He looked OK couple of minutes ago!!!! 

And TRULY BELIEVE GOS HAD THINGS WORK OUT THIS WAY TO HELP MY MOM & I PROCESS THIS. If he would of died suddenly, I know we would of been so lost & beyond hurt & confused & angry. This way, though we had to slowly watch him break down each day, this was our way of seeing we didn't want him to suffer anymore! Thank you to all of our family/friends/loved ones! You all have been so great! And we are forever grateful for your love & support throughout these past several years & for the next difficult months that lay ahead of us
