February 27, 2000, of Amherst, NY, beloved husband of Pearl Butts Petersen; also survived by nieces and nephews. Friends may call Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the HARRY A. WEDEKINDT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 280 Grover Cleveland Hwy. at N. Bailey where services will be held Wednesday at 9:30 AM. Friends invited. Burial will be in Lakewood, NY. Mr. Petersen was a retired Amherst High School Teacher.
